Which MyClose App version you must download to operate your antitheft system depends on the tracker release. To understand which App version you need to download please check out the Read Carefully booklet you find in the product package. If the Read Carefully booklet you find inside the package does not specify which version to download, you should download MyClose App 1.0. Otherwise, please download the App version specified in the Read Carefully booklet you find in your product package (check out the label sticked to the Read Carefully booklet).
MyClose Apps are available for iOS and Android devices. Currently we are not working on the Windows App, but we might develop a Windows App in the future.
MyClose App 1.0 and MyClose App 2.0 are available in English only. The text messages you receive on your phone as alarms are instead available in 5 languages: Italian, English, French, Spanish and Dutch (you choose the text messages language by the configuration software or by MyClose App 2.0).
Both MyClose App 1.0 and MyClose App 2.0 work on devices with Android 4.1 or higher and with devices with iOS 8.1 or higher (from iPhone 4s updated).

With MyClose App 1.0 you can: activate/deactivate the system alarm, request your vehicle position whenever you want to know it, configure your tracker working parameters, select from your contacts the number to be alerted in case of alarm, select the language of the alarms text messages. With MyClose App 2.0, on top of the functionalities already available with MyClose App 1.0, you display the status of the system components for a smoother system switch on: smartphone, tracker / communication unit and lock / motorbike brake disc lock.

Alarms

You receive alarm alerts to your mobile phone as phone calls and text messages. With MyClose App 2.0 for Android alarms will also be displayed with a specific screen on the App.
The movement alarm is the alarm you receive on your mobile in case of unauthorized movements of your lock / motorbike brake disc lock. When system alarm is activated, unauthorized movements of the lock / brake disc lock are interpreted as theft attempts and trigger the movement alarm that is sent to your smartphone.
You can personalize the lock sensibility to movements according to your needs, by choosing between: high sensibility, medium sensibility and low sensibility.
High sensibility: 1 movement of the lock / motorbike brake disc lock in a minute is enough to trigger movement alarm to your mobile.
Medium sensibility: 2 movements of the lock / motorbike brake disc lock in a minute are needed to trigger movement alarm to your mobile.
Low sensibility: 3 movements of the lock / brake disc lock in a minute are needed to trigger movement alarm to your mobile.
We recommend the high sensibility setting in case you are parking in high theft risk area or if you want to be alerted as someone tampers with your vehicle.
You can change the sensibility of the lock / motorbike brake disc lock through the App or through the configuration software from your pc.
Yes, you will receive also an alarm in case communication from tracker to lock / from the tracker to the motorbike brake disc lock is lost. The frequency of this alarm is defined by the user in the configuration software or through the App. It is useful to keep receiving this alert in case the connection between the lock and the tracker is not re-established.
Besides, you will receive an alert in case your tracker is switched-off.
You can choose to activate/deactivate alarms for missing communication between lock and tracker and for tracker switch-off.
You are alerted when your tracker or your lock / motorbike brake disc lock are running out of battery. You can choose to activate/deactivate alarms when the system is running out of battery.

Technical specification

The padlock and the tracker only work in combination with each in other to send alarms to your smartphone. You can use the lock / motorbike brake disc lock by itself only as a mechanical lock with no communication functionality.
Yes, you can. It is possible to connect up to 5 locks / brake disc locks to 1 tracker. Each lock though, can be connected to only 1 tracker.
MyClose antitheft system has passed the French CLASSE SRA and the Dutch TNO (4 stars) homologations. Still resistance tests are made both in laboratory and by hand. Those certifications represent a proof of quality for the best mechanical resistance of the product for its category.
The Mini U padlock, the motorbike brake disc lock and the tracker are all waterproof and resistant to dust.
The Mini U padlock and the motorbike brake disc lock are classified IP56 that means resistant to strong water spurts coming from any direction and also to see water and no dust that can interfere with correct system working can enter into them. In other words the padlock and the motorbike brake disc lock can stay under a thunder storm without any protection. The tracker is IP45 that means resistant to water spurts coming from any direction and is protected from entrances of any piece of dust and dirty bigger than 1 mm.

New system registration

You can start a new system registration either from MyClose App or Myclose web site (section MyCustomer Area). During the registration phase you will choose the credential you will use to access the App and the customer area in the website, and you will insert the codes reported on the brochure “Codes for activation” you will find inside the package.
